Dormitory -
Housing will be at the NC State Highway Patrol Training Academy. The assignments will be 2 to a room (twin beds). You may check in between 8am and 4pm on Tuesday, May 6th. Details to follow with the orientation packet.

Internet Access
You will have access to a wireless internet connection (service cost covered in your fee for room & board).


Meals

The cafeteria is in Building #8 at the NCSHP Training Center and provides the following meal times: 

      Breakfast from 7:00-8:00AM
      Lunch from 11:30AM-1:00PM
      Dinner from 4:45-5:45PM

The cafeteria closes after lunch on Friday.  If you plan to spend weekends in Raleigh, you will have to make arrangements for your weekend meals.  Some students have recommended bringing small refrigerators and microwaves if available.

Additional Facilities

The NCSHP Training Acadmey has gym facilities, a weight room, and a track.    Laundry service is available at a cost through the Highway Patrol Training facility, but students have sometimes opted to use a commercial laundromat.

The Training Academy is very close to I-40 and many restaurants, shopping and downtown Raleigh. Click here for a list of local restaurants.
