*Note on computers - You are expected to write a number of papers during the semester. To assist you, the Training Center and the NCSU campus has limited access to computers. However, past students have recommended that students bring their own personal (desktop or laptop) computer if available. Although computer training can be made available, officers unfamiliar with computers may find it helpful to get some practice before they attend the program (especially in Microsoft Office Suite and the internet).
