Invitation to Join the Dean's Circle
I invite you to join CHASS as we prepare the next generation of leaders, scholars, thinkers, and doers. Join us as we conduct and disseminate research and scholarship that enhances and improves our state and our world. Become a Dean’s Circle member and help shape the future of our society. 
The Dean’s Circle recognizes the generosity of alumni and friends who make annual gifts of $1000 or more and current CHASS faculty and staff who make annual gifts of $500 or more to the CHASS Enhancement Fund. As a member of the Dean’s Circle, your investment will help the college meet the educational needs of our students, take advantage of extraordinary opportunities, and meet new challenges in teaching, research, and service.
The CHASS Enhancement Fund supports projects and initiatives that the State of North Carolina does not cover—critical expenditures that foster leadership and scholarship. The flexibility of the CHASS Enhancement Fund helps meet the needs of our faculty and students.
As a member of the Dean’s Circle, here’s a small sampling of what your generosity will support:
- Funding for promising undergraduate and graduate students
- Faculty seed grants for pursuing new research interests and other academic endeavors
- Scholarships and awards to students for travel abroad experiences
- Lecture series and guest speakers
- Receptions honoring extraordinary achievements of our students and faculty
- Graduation festivities
- Sending students and faculty to national and international conferences to present their research and scholarship, thereby increasing the impact of their work and promoting our terrific teaching and scholarship

How to Join
To make your gift to the CHASS Enhancement Fund and join the Dean’s Circle, simply complete the membership form and return it to the address below. Or visit our secure online giving page.
To make a larger impact, please consider pledging your support with a five- year commitment to the college, using this pledge form. Such a pledge helps us know we can count on your support and plan accordingly.
Staff and faculty may choose to make their gift through payroll deduction.
Dean’s Circle membership must be paid in full by the end of the calendar year to receive full recognition for that year.
